The Beards spent time traveling and photographing Egypt and in residence at Hog Ranch.
Peter Beard: Wild Life presented at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2001.

The Peter Beard Studio was founded in 2002.

Zara’s Tales: Perilous Escapades in Equatorial Africa was published by Knopf in November 2004.

In 2004 The Andy Warhol Show, an extensive group exhibition dedicated to the artist, was mounted at La Triennale di Milano, Italy and included photographs by Beard.

Light Bound: Photographers Regard the Book, a group show including Beard, was mounted at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts in 2004.

Peter Beard, the book that has come to define his oeuvre, was published by Taschen in an Art Edition in 2006 and a Collector’s Edition in 2007.
Peter Beard traveled and photographed extensively in Turkey.

Beard donated nine photographs to the permanent collection of The Camargo Foundation in Cassis, France. Founded by Beard’s cousin, Jerome Hill, The Camargo Foundation offers residencies to artists, scholars and thought leaders from the world over.

In May 2008, Beard shot the 2009 Pirelli Calendar in the Kalahari Desert and the Okavango Delta in Botswana.

Beard’s seminal The End of The Game was republished by Taschen in May 2008.

A two-volume trade edition of Peter Beard was published by Taschen in October 2008.
